One year on from our inaugural show with Keng Lye, K+ is delighted to once again give centre stage to this amazing artist. In Alive Without Breath II: Creature Comforts, Keng Lye continues to enthral with a range of hyperrealistic works that see him pushing the envelope both thematically and technically.
In addition to pieces created by painting on layers of resin, Keng Lye has also further honed his technique of sculpting in resin to create works that are ever more realistic and three-dimensional. In “Two Sides”, for example, what looks like a glass jar is actually formed from resin too.
In Alive Without Breath II: Creature Comforts, K+ is also proud to have brought together two phenomenal talents in our first local-international collaboration, with Keng Lye and Hong Kong ceramic artist Johnson Tsang working together on select pieces.
Come marvel at the works at K+, Scotts Square #03-14/15.
