A NOAH’S ARK FOR SINGAPORE ART & DESIGN
From July 2016, K+ takes the next step in playing catalyst to Singapore’s burgeoning design scene by re-launching as a new multi-concept shop. K+ now spans across 4000 square feet of space where art meets retail meets community.
With the continual support of Scotts Square, this is the largest K+ space yet at nearly three times the size of its original premises. K+ now houses a larger Gallery space, a Retail space and a new Community space. Its vision is still the same – to act as a “Noah’s Ark”, promoting and preserving local art and design for the next generation of creative Singaporeans.
K+ Curatorial Space is now located at Scotts Square #03-11
K+ Gallery now boasts more space for art, craft and design exhibitions. The additional space means an even bigger platform for under-the-radar or new artists, designers and brands to showcase their works.
Visitors can expect new exhibitions from international and local creators every 6 to 8 weeks.
As an extension of K+’s mission, K+ Retail houses a well-edited selection of products that highlight the vibrant international and local creative scene. Together with 5 local companies and brands, the Retail space aims to be a “Noah’s Ark” — a sanctuary for up-and-coming creators. BooksActually, GOODSTUPH, Kinetic, Pomelo, Supermama and Tofu will curate a range of lifestyle products, literature, furniture and apparel that will showcase the best of Singapore’s creativity.
K+ invites small retailers and creators to showcase and sell their wares in the heart of Orchard Road! Take your pick of our eye-catching window bays and pop-up booths, and kickstart your business without the costly overheads.

BooksActually is an independent bookstore specialising in Fiction and Literature, with an emphasis on Singapore Literature. Discover the rich world of Singapore literature through their books published under the Math Paper Press imprint; or purchase the perfect gift for your favourite bookworm from their Birds & Co. Stationery label.
GOODSTUPH is a social influence agency proudly born and bred in Singapore, with over 30 global and local brands under her care. When not busy fighting fire, GOODSTUPH produces limited runs of quirky or patriotic (sometimes both!) items, conceived and crafted in her studio. Her original products have been featured on internationally acclaimed publications such as The New York Times, Complex, Fast Company, Nylon and Trendhunter.
Kinetic is a boutique design, advertising and interactive agency. Ours is a story of local people having the courage to dream the impossible: that a small country like Singapore is capable of producing talent that can take on the world. Kinetic will be presenting unique and hard-to-find wares sourced from their travels, and will also be producing their own line of lifestyle products.
Supermama is a gallery shop that collects, creates and curates objects. They hope to engage every consumer as an individual, curating a space that allows everyone to slow down. Supermama will be presenting “omiyage/お土産” (contemporary giftware) developed closely with Singapore designers and Japanese craft facilities.
A young and ambitious creative studio that’s native to Tiong Bahru’s vibrant Yong Siak Street, Tofu considers itself an institute for the incubation of ideas. It is a collective of designers, art directors, illustrators, collaborators, thinkers and dreamers, united in their unwavering quest for meaningful communication, and the perfection of their craft. Every new project is considered a blank canvas with the potential to yield endless possibilities.
Pomelo offers better living through interior landscaping. Classic and contemporary designs, household names and upcoming brands, from Odense to Minneapolis, everything comes together under their company philosophy: good design, made well. They will be curating a selection of interior products that will add an element of design and elegance to every home.
The K+ Community space is where practitioners, students and anyone interested in art and design can freely mingle and interact!
Look forward to special bazaars where we bring in independent artisans, hobbyists and amateur creators from Singapore and around the region, to showcase and sell their work!
